Vaida, born in Lithuania, is an award-winning filmmaker who currently divides her time between Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, and St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. She is the founder of Black Shore Productions Inc., a film and TV production company named after Juodkrantė, a charming fishing hamlet in the Curonian Spit National Park in Lithuania. As a director, producer, and screenwriter, Vaida is dedicated to crafting visually striking and thought-provoking fictional and documentary films that explore important social themes, inspire audiences, and drive meaningful change.
